Nottingham Trent University UK community project with Bharat Jatiya Sangh’s , Seth Bhajalal Rohra English School

Nottingham Trent University is very proud of Indian graduates like Varun Dhawan- Bollywood actor, Vineet Bahl & Priya Patil- Indian Fashion Designer and many more.

Every year there are hundreds of Indian students starting at our University in the UK for higher education and we feel a social responsibility to support Indian Society by visiting Municipal and Government Schools and engage with students by hosting drawing competitions and interactive events. On 17th October 2019, Nottingham Trent University International Development Office Director Mr David Bailey, Senior Regional Manager Mr Mirza Mujic, Country Adviser Mr Rishi Pokar and Regional Adviser Shruti Jaggi hosted Community Project with Alumni Priya Patil at Bharat Jatiya Sangh’s , Seth Bhajalal Rohra English School in Mumbai. This year University community project in India involved our Alumni Priya Patil who is a Celebrity Fashion Designer. She conducted Art and Design workshop for 60 girl students of 9th and 10th grade. These students learnt to make a purse out of cloth pieces and decorate during the workshop. Alumni Priya Patil studied MA Fashion Textile Design course at Nottingham Trent University in 2004 batch and currently styling Amitabh Bachchan at KBC and many other TV shows.
